Dr. Josh Olson is a dedicated optometrist with over 12 years of experience providing exceptional eye care. As a co-founder of Peek to Peak Vision and Boutique, he continues his mission to offer personalized, comprehensive eye care to patients in Boulder and beyond.

Prior to founding his practice, Dr. Olson spent over a decade at Sunrise Vision Care, a renowned Colorado Eye Center in Boulder, where he earned a reputation for his thorough and compassionate care.

A proud Colorado native from the Western Slope, Dr. Olson’s educational journey reflects his commitment to both learning and teaching. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and a Master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Before pursuing optometry, he taught elementary school on the Western Slope—a background that enriches his ability to educate and communicate with patients of all ages.

Dr. Olson received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry, where his passion for patient education deepened. He takes great pride in helping his patients understand their eye health and how tailored treatments can enhance their daily lives.

Additionally, as a professional affairs consultant for Johnson & Johnson, Dr. Olson educates fellow eye care professionals nationwide on the latest contact lens technologies.

Dr. Olson is a recognized expert in specialty contact lenses, attracting patients from across Colorado and beyond. He has a particular passion for Orthokeratology (Corneal Reshaping Therapy) and myopia management, offering advanced solutions to improve vision and slow the progression of nearsightedness in both children and adults.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Olson enjoys spending time with his family, serving his community, and engaging in hobbies like woodworking, running, and exploring Colorado’s mountains. His detailed nature and commitment to lifelong learning makes him a trusted partner in his patients’ visual health journey.
